On the morning of July 3, 2024, at the Cat Lai Hall, Tan Cang Marine Services Joint Stock Company (TCMS) successfully held the Mid-Year Review Conference to evaluate the first six months’ performance and deploy tasks for the remaining six months of 2024. Attending and directing the conference was Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thi Hong Thu – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of TCMS. The conference was chaired by Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Nghia – Director of DVHH. The event was attended by members of the Party Committee, the Company’s leadership, heads of departments and divisions, and 66 delegates representing officers, employees, and workers across the Company.
Overview of the conference
The conference focused on the following key contents: thoroughly disseminating the Resolution of the Party Committee of DVHH on leadership in implementing national defence and security and business-production tasks in the first half of 2024, as well as building the Party organization for the second half of the year; and discussing and proposing key solutions for fulfilling national defence and security and business-production tasks in the remaining six months of 2024.

At the conference, Comrade Tran Thi Hong Thu – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Company – delivered a summary of the implementation of the Party Committee’s Resolution; provided an objective, comprehensive, and practical evaluation of the achieved results, clearly pointed out the shortcomings, limitations, and underlying causes during the implementation of tasks in the first half of 2024; and at the same time, highlighted the strengths, weaknesses, and outlined the direction and key tasks for the second half of 2024.

The conference was lively and primarily focused on discussion and proposing key solutions for implementing tasks in the second half of 2024. These included: thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing directives and orders from higher authorities; maintaining readiness and accomplishing assigned tasks; prioritizing unit safety; effectively carrying out the 2024 business motto, investment and business strategies, and the company restructuring plan; strengthening financial and cost management; continuing to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of political and ideological education and communication efforts; and strictly adhering to the company’s approved organizational structure.
