On the afternoon of June 23, 2025, at the Cat Lai Hall, Tan Cang Marine Services Joint Stock Company (TCMS) successfully held the Mid-Year Review Conference to evaluate its performance in the first six months of 2025 and to set out tasks for the remaining six months. Attending and directing the conference was Colonel Vo Hoai Nam – Party Committee Member, Deputy Commander of Brigade 20, and Deputy General Director of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP). Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Nghia – General Director of TCMS – chaired the conference. Participants included leaders from the Planning & Business Department and the Organization & Labor-Wage Department of SNP, the Party Committee, Company leadership, Supervisory Board, heads of departments and divisions, and 52 representatives of officers, employees, and workers of the Company.
Overview of the conference
The conference focused on the following key contents: thoroughly disseminating the Resolution of the Party Committee of TCMS on leading the implementation of military-defense and business-production tasks in the first half of 2025; and discussing and proposing key solutions for successfully fulfilling the military-defense and business-production tasks in the second half of 2025.

At the Conference, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thi Hong Thu – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors – thoroughly presented the Party Committee’s Resolution for the second half of 2025. The Party Committee provided an objective, comprehensive, and realistic assessment of the results achieved in the first half of the year. All key economic indicators showed growth compared to the same period and exceeded the set targets (volume reached 50.02% of the annual plan, up 2.3% YoY; revenue reached 50.03% of the annual plan, up 9.56% YoY; after-tax profit reached 55.8% of the annual plan, up 8.1% YoY; average employee income increased by 6.5% YoY). At the same time, she pointed out the limitations, shortcomings, and underlying causes in the implementation of the first half’s tasks; as well as clearly identified the opportunities, challenges, and directions for the second half of 2025.

In his directive speech at the conference, Colonel Vo Hoai Nam – Party Committee Member, Deputy Commander of Brigade 20, and Deputy General Director of Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) – acknowledged, commended, and congratulated the Company for its business performance and achievements in the first half of 2025. He requested the Company to continue closely coordinating with relevant departments of SNP to effectively implement investment activities, proactively research and survey potential markets, and gradually expand operational areas. This is a key factor contributing to the sustainable development of the entire SNP system while also creating more jobs and increasing income for employees.

The conference featured lively discussions and proposals for key solutions to fulfill tasks for the second half of 2025, including: thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing directives and orders from higher authorities; being ready to receive and excellently accomplish assigned tasks; managing production and business operations flexibly; expanding markets and developing new services; ensuring effective performance in administration, logistics, technical operations, and equipment maintenance; enhancing financial, risk, and cost management to meet targets in revenue, profit, and employee income; and building a Party Committee strong in politics, ideology, ethics, organization, and personnel.
The delegates presented discussions and proposals focused on solutions to improve production and business efficiency, ensuring the successful fulfillment of the 2025 business plan
