Tan Cang Maritime Services JSC organizes an emulation campaign to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the First General Election of the National Assembly of Vietnam (06/01/1946 – 06/01/2026) and to welcome the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
Overview of the emulation launching conference
Implementing Guidance No. 5434/HD-TCg dated 21 November 2025 of Saigon Newport Corporation and executing Plan No. 755/KH-TĐKT of Tan Cang Maritime Services JSC, on the morning of 02 December, the Company organized the launching ceremony of an emulation drive themed “Accelerate – Break Through – Successfully Achieve All Targets and Tasks,” in celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the First General Election of the National Assembly of Vietnam (06/01/1946 – 06/01/2026) and in welcome of the 14th National Congress of the Party. Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thi Hong Thu – Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Chairwoman of the Company’s Emulation and Commendation Council – presided over the conference. The ceremony was attended by members of the Party Committee, the Company’s Board of Management, officers from 14 departments and tugboats, representatives of the three mass organizations, and employees participating from various online meeting points.

With the emulation motto “Solidarity – Safety – Acceleration – Breakthrough,” the emulation campaign will take place from 25 November 2025 to 31 January 2026. The Chairwoman of the Emulation and Commendation Council emphasized and clarified the key focus areas of the campaign.
First, Party committees and commanding officers at all levels within the Company shall strengthen communication and education on four key aspects: the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the significance of its National Congresses, as well as the importance of the upcoming 14th National Congress scheduled for mid-January 2026; the context, meaning, and profound historical value of the First General Election of the National Assembly (held on 06 January 1946), which marked the country’s first major leap in building a democratic institution — the first time in history that the Vietnamese people exercised their right to vote and elect the National Assembly as the body representing the will and interests of the people; the patriotic spirit and glorious revolutionary traditions of our Army and nation on the occasion of the 81st Anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People’s Army (22/12/1944 – 22/12/2025) and the 36th Anniversary of the All-People National Defense Festival (22/12/1989 – 22/12/2025); the outstanding achievements and exemplary accomplishments of Corps 20 – Saigon Newport Corporation and of the Company.
Accordingly, each collective and each individual shall uphold their responsibilities and duties, focusing on the Company’s key tasks during the peak year-end production period under the emulation motto “Solidarity – Safety – Acceleration – Breakthrough.” All units must maintain unity in will and action to accomplish assigned missions. Safety must be ensured across all aspects: maritime safety, production safety, personnel safety, information security, and political and ideological security. The Company must accelerate and break through in business operations, demonstrating strong determination and synchronously implementing solutions to accelerate progress and achieve the 2025 business plan 15 days ahead of schedule; expedite the progress of the tugboat investment project; and concurrently pay close attention to ensuring proper welfare and policies for employees during the Lunar New Year.
