Tan Cang Maritime Services Joint Stock Company (JSC), Saigon Newport Corporation organized Determination-to-win Emulation Congress for the 2019-2024 term on the afternoon of May 3rd in Thu Duc City, Hochiminh City. The event saw the presence of Rear Admiral Pham Van Luyen, Vice Chairman of Navy Politburo. This congress is a model congress chosen to be organized for the purpose of drawing experiences for the other grassroots units throughout the Navy.
At the congress, also attention including comrades: Colonel Nguyen Nang Toan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Saigon Newport Corporation; Colonel Bui Van Quy, Deputy Director Saigon Newport Corporation; Representatives of heads of functional units of the Navy; Naval Region 2, Naval Technical College; Leader & Commander of Brigade 125, Naval Squadron 129; Commander of Agencies, units, and Companies directly under Saigon Newport Corporation and 70 delegates of Tan Cang Marine Services JSC.

Over the past 5 years, the emulation, commendation, and the determination-to-win emulation movement of Tan Cang Maritime Services JSC have comprehensively developed which associated with implementing effectively the campaigns; following closely appropriate topics, contents and targets; created a vibrant competitive atmosphere, broke through strongly in each task. The company had many innovative models in production including: “Releasing vessels quickly”, “Safety, Productivity, Efficiency”, “Faster, More Accurate, Safer”, Scientific operation, Safe Towage”, “Towage of Tan Cang takes the lead – Picking up vessels for Tan Cang”…; thereby contributing to raising awareness, fostering ideology, building will and confidence for officers, employees, and workers.

In addition, the Determination-to-win Emulation Movement has become a great spiritual motivation which encourages officers, employees, and sailors to strive to complete all tasks well and excellently; raises highly internal solidarity and unity; builds a clean and strong Party Committee, and a “exemplary and typical” comprehensive company to help company in getting many excellent achievements and commendation titles; improves production and business efficiency, contributes to the development of the system and affirmation for the reputation of the Saigon Newport’s towing services brand. Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Nguyen Nang Toan appreciated and praised achievements in determination-to-win emulation movement 2019-2024 term of Tan Cang Maritime Services JSC, and requested the company’s party committees and Board of Director to promote the spirit of responsibility, leadership, and direction, to organize more effective implementation of the determination-to-win emulation movement, and to continue to innovate the contents, forms, and methods of organizing activities in order to ensure the synchronization, diversity, flexibility, abundance, and liveliness associated with practice at the agency. Implementing the determination-to-win emulation movement needs to focus on inspection, preliminary and final reviews, and lessons learned in spirit of “Voluntary, self-awareness, openness, transparence, solidarity, cooperation and mutual development”, promptly replicating the advanced examples to contribute to the successful implementation of assigned tasks.
Rewarding groups and individuals with outstanding achievements
On this occasion, Tan Cang Maritime Services JSC awarded certificates of merit to 4 groups and 12 individuals who have made outstanding achievements in implementing the Determination-to-win Emulation Movement 2019-2024 term. After the congress, the Naval Service organized the experience review meeting under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman of Navy Politburo comrade. This is the basis for the Naval Service to direct agencies in Determination-to-win Emulation congress organization 2019-2024 term to ensure unity, effectiveness and practicality.
