TAN CANG MARITIME SERVICES JSC –TOWING THE MAIDEN VOYAGE OF AAL HAMBURG VESSEL IN VIETNAM

On the morning of July 28, 2024, at Phu My Town, Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, Tan Cang Maritime Services SJC coordinated with Tan Cang – Cai Mep JSC (TCCT) and Ba Son Corporation to successfully and safely tow the cargo vessel AAL Hamburg to dock at Cai Mep – Thi Vai port area (The new vessel was built and named on July 12, 2024, making its first shipment at TCCT).

Receiving the trust of customers, TCMS continues to affirm our position in the field of towing at ports in Ho Chi Minh City and Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. On July 28, 2024, the Company successfully towed the first shipment of the AAL Hamburg ship to Cai Mep port, Ba Ria – Vung Tau province. The towing work for the AAL Hamburg vessel included 02 tugboats Tan Cang A9 (capacity of 4,500HP) and Tan Cang A10 (capacity of 5,000HP) of the Company.

The AAL Hamburg, launched on July 12, 2024 (32,000 DWT, LOA 180m) – named after the largest historic port city in Germany – is the second of eight super-cargo ships in the most advanced B-Class project of AAL Shipping. The AAL Hamburg was safely docked at Cai Mep port on its maiden voyage; exporting more than 60 packages of equipment with a total cargo volume of approximately 535,289 tons of cargo (4,902m3).
