On the afternoon of June 14th<\/sup> 2024, at the conference room of Carevelle Saigon Hotel, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, Tan Cang Maritime JSC (TCMS) successfully organized the 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders Council.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reporting at the conference, Mrs. Tran Thi Hong Thu \u2013 Chairperson of the Board of the Administration Council \u2013 assessed in 2023 with the close direction of Saigon Newport Corporation, the effective coordination from shareholders and partners; the flexible and timely of the Board of Administration, Board of Directors; the efforts and dedication of all employees as well as the support and trust of valued customers and shipping lines, TCMS has ensured the stability for production and business, high growth of business indicators (output +5,27%, revenue +6,10%, profit +19,18% compared to 2022) and reached the highest level ever; ensured the safety and health of financial activities; ensured the benifits of shareholders and employees at the high level.<\/p>\n

In 2024, the Board of Administration Council and Executive Board have determined to continue actively developing the external markets and services in order to increasing the revenue and efficiency for the Company. Another important mission is focusing on suitable investment plan for tugboats in accordance with legal regulations in order to increase the vehicle capacity for Company, serve the production and develop the external services.<\/p>\n

At the conference, delegates also heard the reports of the Supervisory Board, Executive Board, and the frank discussion and statements of representatives of shareholders and Company\u2019s Administration Council.<\/p>\n

At the conference, the delegates approved the reports of Administration Council, Supervisory Board, and Executive Board; production and business plan for 2024; financial statements of 2023 and selection of auditing unit for 2024, salary fund in 2023 and salary fund plan for 2024; profit distribution and dividend proposal for 2023 at 30,11%\/chartered capital (intending to make the payments to shareholders from July 2024).<\/p>\n

Shareholders vote to approve the contents at the conference<\/em><\/p>\n

At the conference, delegates also approved to dismiss Mr. Mong Dang Xuan from his Supervisor title and duties in the term IV of office (2023-2028); and conducted the election of 01 additional member of Supervisory Board in term IV for Mr. Mai Tien Dung (Deputy head of department Internal Audit, Saigon Newport Corporation), the result reached 100% of agreement.<\/p>\n

After more than 02 hours of work, with a high sense of responsibility, the conference successfully completed all contents and program that demonstrates the high unity of Shareholders, Administration Council and Executive Board towards the production and business goals in 2024, and ensure the stability and growth of all indicators and average income of employees, and dividend for shareholders at a high level.\/.<\/p>\n
