The arrival of the SITC MINHE vessel at Phuoc An Port marks the first vessel call under the cooperation agreement between Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) and Phuoc An Port Investment and Petroleum Joint Stock Company (PAP). Phuoc An Port is expected to serve as an extended arm of Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal in the Ho Chi Minh City area and the deep-water ports TCIT\/TCTT in the Cai Mep area.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On March 28, 2025, Saigon Newport Corporation (SNP) and Phuoc An Port Investment and Petroleum Joint Stock Company (PAP) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on strategic cooperation. This event marks a significant milestone in expanding the integrated port and logistics ecosystem in Southern Vietnam.<\/p>\n

The signing ceremony coincided with the arrival of the SITC MINHE vessel \u2013 the first ship to call at Phuoc An Port under the cooperation framework between SNP and PAP. Phuoc An Port is expected to serve as a strategic extension supporting the operations of Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal in Ho Chi Minh City and deep-water ports such as TCIT\/TCTT in the Cai Mep area.<\/p>\n

SITC is the first shipping line to reroute its vessel, SITC MINHE, to Phuoc An Port, with a recorded import-export cargo volume of 400 TEUs. This vessel is currently operating on a dedicated service route at Tan Cang – Cat Lai Terminal.<\/p>\n

To ensure the success of the event as well as maritime safety for the SITC MINHE vessel\u2019s arrival at Phuoc An Port, two tugboats – Tan Cang 01 and Tan Cang A10<\/strong> – operated by Tan Cang Marine Services Joint Stock Company successfully assisted in berthing the vessel at Phuoc An Port. This marks the company\u2019s first tug operation for a cargo vessel at this newly established port cluster.<\/p>\n
