On the morning of March 7th 2024, at Cat Lai Hall, Tan Cang Maritime Services Joint Stock Company (JSC) organized the Labor Delegates Conference in 2024.
Attending to direct the conference were Colonel Vo Hoai Nam – member of Saigon Port Military Party Committee, Deputy General Director of SNP; attending to monitor the conference were Lieutenant Colonel Tran Thi Hong Thu – Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Administration of TCMS, and representatives of functional departments of SNP: B&P Department, Labor Department, Investment Planning Department; Senior Lieutenant Colonel Phan Van Tien – Director of TCMS, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Dau Ngoc Long – Chairman of Company’s labor union branch, co-chaired the conference; attending the conference were also 60 delegates representing for 101 officers, employees, and workers of the company.
Overview of the conference
At the conference, delegates were reported about: Report on production and business results in 2023 and direction for implementing tasks in 2024; Report on the results of the Labor Conference at department, ship and center level; Report on the results of implementing the Collective Labor Agreement of the 11th Labor Conference in 2023.

In 2023, under the leadership and direction of the Party Committee, Board of Director with solidarity, dynamism, and creativity, The Party Committee and the Board of Director along with all officers, employees, and workers have implemented all assigned tasks well, ensured absolutely maritime safety in all aspects; and completed successfully production tasks 21 days in advance. The company has enforced and practiced the discipline well; working environment and conditions have been improved; the service quality has been steadily increased. Promoting democracy, giving prominence to technical innovation initiatives; income and life of officers, employees, and workers are guaranteed at a high level; Emulation and reward, public relation, and policies have been implemented with practical effectiveness. The Party Committee was built clean and strong organization; the company achieved comprehensive strength and is the “exemplary”; mass organizations achieved strong production, right functions implementation, and effectiveness. The company was awarded the Emulation Flag from Navy; 4 groups achieved progressive production agency; 10 individuals achieved the title of grassroots emulation soldier; 60 individuals achieved the title of advanced worker.

Speaking to direct the conference, Colonel Vo Hoai Nam – Deputy Director of SNP acknowledged, praised and congratulated the results of production and business activities and achievement that the company has achieved in 2023; and requested in 2024 the company needs to coordinate with other agencies of SNP to implement effectively investment tasks, and contribute importance to the overall development of the entire system of Saigon Newport Corporation and increase job and income for labors.

In order to well implement the targets and requirements following to Resolution set out by Saigon Naval Party Committee and the company’s Party Committee, the conference voted and agreed to propose many contents, measures for implementation which demonstrates a sense of responsibility, determination to strive to complete excellently assigned tasks in 2024 and in order to synchronously implement production and business solutions according to principle set out by The Company Party Committee: “Highlight responsibility, ensuring the safety; strengthening the cooperation, promoting the investment; effective business”.
